The Fallen Soldiers Organization, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that assists soldiers and their families. We work with soldiers returning home from duty overseas by connecting them with community resources. We help soldiers re-enter civilian life by providing assistance in finding employment and housing. We provide financial and emotional support for incarcerated soldiers and their families.
Soldiers returning from military duty oversees often deal with a lot of stress. These soldiers are happy to be home with their families, but have a hard time adjusting to living a normal life. Soldiers often come home with PTSD and other mental health issues from being in a war-zone. The military does not provide enough support for these soldiers and their families. We help soldiers find the mental health services they need and provide caring support for them and their families while they are transitioning back to their home lives.
Re-entering civilian life after active military service can be difficult. Soldiers are often unsure how their military training translates into a civilian job. We help soldiers make the transition by helping them write resumes, search for employment, attend job and career fairs and polish their interview skills. We also help connect them with the community resources they need. We help them apply for their VA benefits, GI Bill, and even VA loans. We are with them every step of the way to help them navigate the often complicated system.
Many soldiers do not have employment when they are discharged from the military. These soldiers and their families need financial support and assistance with basic needs. The Fallen Soldier Organization can help them with food clothing, help them find transitional housing, and can also provide limited financial support.
We provide emotional support for those soldiers who have been imprisoned for non-criminal behavior. While legally, they may be liable for their actions, imprisonment is often the result of unfair treatment by unit leaders and superior officers. We visit prisoners, write letters, and also provide financial support for their families, when funds are available. When these soldiers are released, we work with them to ensure they make a smooth transition back to civilian life.
The Fallen Soldiers Organization understands the needs of families. We provide financial assistance for those families whose soldier is in prison. We also work with them to help them find housing and assist with basic needs.
